Be tough! Hit harder! Rub dirt on it! Get back in there! Cries heard from many a sports dad over the years in "support" of the toughness of their respective sons. Yep, its hard playing armchair football with your son as proxy...especially when hits like this remind him that sometimes football hurts...
Indeed it can be tough for a young guy to get his head back in the game when his own mortality is being questioned - by him. But then I see him get back up, grimacing slightly and clearly conscious of his fear only to get right back after it.
Sometimes it must feel good to get the quickest guy out there...behind the line of scrimmage
